Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on the Lower East Side, she is of Puerto Rican descent and proudly embraces her African roots.
She is the creator of “Spirit in Motion,” a handcrafted, spiritually inspired line of jewelry, oils, spritzes, bath salts, and more—guided by her ancestors. Her creations have even been featured by Moshood. She is also the founder and facilitator of the women’s group S.I.S.T.E.R.S. (Simply Intentional Souls Transferring Energy Releasing Sun), which fosters healing and empowerment.
As Co-Director, dance instructor, percussionist, and chorus singer for the cultural group Orgullo Taíno, she shares and preserves the rich traditions of Bomba and Plena. She has also served as a life skills teacher for young Puerto Rican girls through La Sociedad Cultural Mayaguezana, helping to instill cultural pride and confidence.
She is a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence, using both her testimony and percussion as tools for healing. Currently, she is employed at Eisman Early Childhood Education Center, where she builds community with children and families while sharing her many talents and skills.
