Carol Robinson is a lifelong creator whose artistry spans crochet, lampwork jewelry, sewing, and quilting. Born and raised in Queens, New York, and now living in the Bronx, Carol began crocheting at just eight years old and sewing as a teenager. Her passion for crafting grew into a lifelong love of making—each creation a reflection of warmth, skill, and devotion to family.
In 2005, while teaching jewelry-making and sewing at a women’s cooperative in Jamaica, Wisconsin, Carol was introduced to the art of quilting by master quilter Christian Johnson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That encounter transformed her creative journey forever. As Christian fondly says, she “created a quilt monster.”
Carol has since made quilts for her three children, her husband, and her grandchildren—each one stitched with love and stories that celebrate the beauty of tradition and the joy of handmade artistry.
